Microsoft Azure is a set of cloud services that lets you build, deploy and manage applications on an enormous, global network with the help of your favorite tools and frameworks. The aim of the Azure course is to provide a glimpse of cloud computing, its offerings, and Microsoft’s cloud platform with a focus on a specific Azure market share. And the best place to get started with the training for the Microsoft Azure Developer Associate course is IQ Stream. But before learning the basics about the course, let’s look at what it is and who should get it.
Why should you get Azure Cloud certified?
Why should you get Azure Cloud certified?
It is great that you’re thinking of getting some cloud certifications. However, you need to decide which module is best for you to start with.
The answer is- There’s no particular best Microsoft Azure certification path that is suitable for everyone. Though getting started in the cloud could be overwhelming with questions like- Are you aware of the basics of cloud migration? And should you go with Google Cloud, AWS, Azure?
This won’t be your deciding factor probably, but Azure offers a cool bonus. Microsoft rolled out a few big certification renewal changes for 2021 that make Azure renewal free indefinitely (which is possibly the best certification renewal option available). IQ Stream Bangalore is the leading Microsoft Azure Developer Associate online training provider with industry experts leading various programs.
Whether you’re looking to declare your existing cloud skills or start into a high-paying cloud career, Microsoft Azure certifications are a brilliant choice, even if you are starting there or migrating to Azure from a different service provider. The certifications and skills bring immense value to your employer and your career. Microsoft Azure Developer Associate certification can be got remotely; you can get certified from home.
Whether you opt for in-person or online, whenever you’re ready to take the test, we have tips for preparing for the Azure certification exam.
Once you’ve decided the right cloud provider for you, figuring out your next steps isn’t a walk in the park either.
Where should you begin?
First off, make sure you understand what a Microsoft Azure certification is and what isn’t. Next up, let’s consider three possible scenarios that can help you with deciding where to begin.
1. “I’m new to tech. I know nothing about the ‘cloud’
If you’re the type of person who counts “Microsoft Word” as experience with technology on your CV, you too can learn cloud computing. If you want to get started, an entry-level certification will provide you with the understanding and vocab needed to better assess where you want to go next. The first stop on the Azure path is the AZ-900Azure Fundamentals certification. Cloud can be very intimidating, but what you get to learn in this certification is simple for even a total newcomer- especially if you have the right training.
2. “I know just a bit about the cloud.”
Maybe you have some IT experience. Maybe you’ve gone through Azure, AWS, or GCP. Do you think you’re ready to jump into the deep hole? Step on the brakes. You too should start with the Azure Fundamentals certification. In the best-case scenario, it’s a breeze for you. However high you soar in Azure, this cert will set the groundwork for future success. The next certification on the ladder is a serious challenge. You’ll need the knowledge of the Fundamentals cert and a lot of hands-on time with Azure before attempting it.
3. “I work with the cloud, and I’m familiar with Azure, and I want to level up.”
Azure certifications are role-based. Check out a job role you have or want to have. That’s the kind of certification for you. Of course, the certifications don’t always totally align with what every employer asks of a person with that title. Check out job postings for the name of the cert you consider and see if the role and responsibilities sound like anything you’d be interested in.

Azure Developer Associate Exam Structure
Azure Developer Associate Exam Structure
The Microsoft Certified Azure Developer Associate Exam’s syllabus covers everything you can ever think of about monitoring and optimizing Azure solutions, developing solutions on top of Azure, and implementing Azure security. There are a few things you need to know and understand before opting for the Azure Developer Certification.
Azure Developer Certification.
Microsoft expects you to have a minimum experience of two years in developing solutions on Azure, for the Azure Developer exam. Also, you must use most of the services Azure offers. Ideally, grasp the practical experience in at least two of the four skill areas that this exam covers:
- Implement Azure security (15-20%)
- Develop Azure compute solutions (25-30%)
- Develop for Azure storage (10-15%)
- Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot Azure solutions (10-15%)
- Connect to and use Azure and third-party services (25-30%)
Azure Associate Certification Exam Format
Azure Associate Certification Exam Format
When you take the Azure Developer Exam, you can expect to have three kinds of questions. Given below is the format-
The primary question format is the lab format. It starts with a business case. Here you are provided with a real-world scenario and you have to read through the long business cases. After that, you get a couple of questions. You could go back and forth when are in the business case section.
When you finish the questions related to the business case section, you won’t be able to go back anymore. So you will need to go back and forth to review the questions before you move to the next one.
Next, you will need a few more questions asking you about some business scenario and if a specific solution can help solve that scenario or not. This type of question is a YES or NO, where you should select either as an answer.
For instance, you might get a question saying that a company needs to deploy a .Net application, to process pictures, to an AKS cluster. Also, the pictures must pass quality checks.
Then it further asks you something like; the application gets uploaded through a docker file with commands for quality tests. Can this satisfy the business need? (YES or NO). Now, this wasn’t even a real exam question.
Set with the most questions
Now finally, you get the set of normal questions (this format contains the maximum exam questions). Here you will have a question and you will have four answers to choose one correct answer from. In some cases, you will need to drag-and-drop options to give a solution to a question.
For such questions, you will be asked to choose, for instance, 3 out of 5 possible actions and enlist them in the correct order. As a sample case, you can be asked how a developer can deploy a function web app through the helm. You would be given six possible actions, among which three are correct, and you must list them in the correct order. In such case, you might choose (Setup Azure Kubernetes Service along with az aks create), then (prepare function for deployment), and then (perform deployment using helm deploy).

- Microsoft Azure Certification: Beginner to Expert Levels
What are the Azure certification levels, and what do they mean? These certifications are organized into four levels:
- Fundamentals
- Associate
- Expert
- Specialty
What does it mean for your cloud certification quest? Not a lot. With a couple of exceptions, you don’t certainly need to clear one level to move up to the subsequent level.
• Fundamentals Certifications:
Consider these Azure certifications for beginners. None of these are essential for any higher Azure certifications, however, they offer ideal starting points for everyone new to cloud or Azure.
• Associate Certifications:
If you know your way around Azure well already, you may feel comfortable starting here. Whether you may be a developer or not, working in a team or alone, Azure DevOps can help you organize the way you create and deliver software.
• Expert Certifications:
If you have serious tech chops, you can be ready for these. A Developer Associate certification (either the Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Developer Associate) is essential for the Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, however, the Azure Solutions Architect Expert doesn’t have any prerequisite certs.
• Specialty Certifications:
There are presently three of these — including the Azure IoT Developer, Azure for SAP Workloads Specialty, and Specialty certifications. And there are no certs needed before earning them.
Final Advice
Final Advice
Focus on the heavy objectives with the higher percentage ratio. They carry the main keys to success. You can also want to fully understand Azure Functions, AKS, developing function apps with blob triggers, Azure Table data Storage.
The Microsoft Azure Developer Associate Exam doesn’t need you to be an expert in the DevOps services in Azure but needs you to know how some of the DevOps tools work and when to use what for a business scenario.
One can also focus on the RBACs roles required to accomplish precise tasks in Azure, as you can have questions asking about the roles needed to accomplish tasks in Azure.

Who’s the Azure development course for?
Pretty much anyone. Aspiring or new developers, IT pros, and non-technical people with a cloud-adjacent job can benefit from understanding what the cloud actually is and how it works. The knowledge is needed to pass this exam and is essential for the one who wants to understand the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
Why should you get it?
This certificate isn’t compulsory for those looking to continue the Azure ladder, but it will prove out to be a solid first step. If the cloud plays a big role in your organization, and signs indicate it will — this exam should be a necessity for nearly everyone on staff. Even non-technical people like managers, salespeople, marketers, can benefit from learning the basics.
What does Microsoft Azure Associate Certification mean?
The AZ-900 got a refresh in 2021, but the basics still hold true. This certification shows you can talk intelligently about Azure without thinking low of yourself. It proves you have a basic understanding of cloud concepts and security, compliance, privacy, services, pricing, and support in Azure.
What does Azure Developer training mean for your career?
The Azure Fundamentals certification is the top-paying cloud certification with cert owners pulling in an average salary of $126,000. But real talk: cloud-embracing companies will not be beating down your door just because you are certified. Still, you’ll learn the basics and create a foundation for cloud understanding.
